I have used the FT as a tool in my political science classes dealing with international and global issues for about a decade, or more. It's unique value derives from its tight, succinct writing style, breadth of coverage globally, it's analytical vision connecting regions and nation-state issues and developments to the broader international and global trends, and of course, and especially, it's insight into the linkages between politics, business, finance and governance. It is an ideal addition to required readings I use in my study abroad programs I lead in Europe each year.
